Connect UAT Console and Start the program
If no Com port is available for selection, the port is not configured correctly
Go to the start menu and select “control panel.”
Select “Device Manager”
Select Com Ports
Right Click “your” com port and select “Properties”
From the “properties box” select the “Port Settings” tab
Set this up as listed below per the NavWorx Installation Manual
Go back to the UAT console and select your Com port
You must program the aircraft Tail Number (otherwise the UAT will see it’s host aircraft) the ICAO Code should populate on it’s own.
On the “Display” tab you will want to set: Display port 1 to “Avidyne” Baud Rate Arinc429 Port to “Traffic Advisory” Data Rate to “High” Ensure Arinc429 Installed is “checked” and “message display”= 4
On the “Inputs” tab, the altitude encoder for the type and baud rate installed. Set GPS source for “MLB-100 Aviation”
Select the “status” tab to ensure there are no failures listed
From any tab you can activate the “traffic simulation.” Please note: The connected IFD must be receiving GPS in order for the test traffic to display
