Task 1- Answer the following in your book. 1)What is Google Earth and how can it be used? 2)How does google Earth get it’s images? (think about space!) 3)Now log onto Google Earth using the following instructions… Step 1 Click and follow this link- Step 2- enter your postcode into the search bar. Step 3- Click the ‘Earth’ box (bottom right) Step 4- Zoom in/ out and take a screen shot of your area. Step 5- Now print it and label the human/ physical features. (see example on next slide) Stretch- Now type in WS9 0RF (Barr Beacon), get a screen shot and describe the physical and human features of the area.
