Using the School Games Website 1.Log in to the SG website using your login and password 2. Click on VIEW PAGE 3. Here you will find news about events and blogs as well as information about your school, pictures and other schools in your area signed up to the SG website.

Using the School Games Website 4. If you are new to the website you can personalise your page by clicking on EDIT PAGE. 5. Here you can choose a colour, upload your school logo, information about your school and add photographs of sporting events.

Using the School Games Website 6. If you choose to blog on the website, you will also find these on your page. 7. Once logged in, the SG website home page has many features. If you ever need to return to the homepage click on SCHOOL TOOLS found at the top of the page Example of a student blog 8. By clicking on Go to Resources you will discover a whole host of material that will be useful.

Using the School Games Website 9. On the left of the page are blue boxes with lots of options. 10. The SG logo can be found by clicking on branding as well as The Spirit of the Games resources By clicking on the box you will gain access to logos, resources, competition formats etc.

Using the School Games Website 11. To apply for Kitemark, use the homepage or the option in the blue boxes to access the criteria and complete your application. 12. When running INTRA school competitions, remember to enter the event onto your page by clicking on Events on the homepage. Adding events and inputting the data e.g. Number of children involved, will link to your Kitemark application making it easier to complete. Remember to do this as events take place. How to do this is explained later.

Using the School Games Website 13. There are PRIZES to be won and it is easy! Click on YOUR SCHOOL using the blue banner at the top of the page. 14. Click on Rewards and Recognition scheme and it will take you to this page. How to enter and the theme for the half term is stated here. GET BLOGGING!!! Students can do this so tie it into literacy and there’s lots to win!!

Using the School Games Website 15. If you are looking for ideas for lessons and competitions formats click on the SPORTS section. This will take you to a list of National Governing Body sports challenges and competitions. A challenge card give practical ways to develop KEY SKILLS required for that sport to prepare children of a Level 2 competition. Ideal for INTRA school competition. A competition card details how to run the recommended competition for that sport.

Using the School Games Website 16. If you require flyers to advertise your events, invitations to parents and children and press release templates, they can all be found on the website.
