FMIG Leadership Roles Director of Outreach and Community Service: My role as the Director of Outreach and Community Service is to promote community service as being a key part of FMIG. My duties involve organizing Knits for Neighbors and being the liaison for any community service that FMIG participates in. I am excited to bring new community service opportunities to FMIG and lay the ground work for FMIG to be able to continue these opportunities for years to come leader: Megan Bartz, Director of Membership and Communication My role as the FMIG Director of Membership and Communication involves membership recruitment and leading events designed to serve as educational and networking events for FMIG students, residents, and faculty. I am also responsible for communication between the leaders of the FMIG and its membership. This is an exciting position that allows me to work closely with the incredible group of faculty and residents that are committed to promoting Family Medicine while helping to foster excitement for Family Medicine among our student body leader: Evan Cretney, Director of National and Regional Facilitation: My role as the National and Regional Facilitation director is to organize and facilitate a dialogue between the FMIG, the Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians (WAFP), and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). Within this role, I organize our contingent attending the AAFP National Conference and the annual Family Medicine Midwest Regional Conference. This role was a natural fit after attending both conferences and serving as a summer extern for the WAFP. My goals for this year are to continue our strong presence at both conferences and to maintain connections between our FMIG and other Family Medicine organizations on a local, state, and national level leader: Daniel Jurczyk, Director of Education and Interprofessional Relations: My role is to take the lead for many of our educational programs, including noon talks, workshops, and more. I also serve as the liaison between FMIG and other medical student interest groups. As Director of Education and Interprofessional Relations, one of my main goals and duties is to provide FMIG with valuable interactions with other professions.
