Lessons learned by CCMs at MBP
Q:How Long does the CMIT designation last? A: CMIT designation lasts for three years. You have to retake the exam every three years
Q: What if I don’t have a CM-related degree? A: You will need to have 8 years general construction/design experience
Q: Is there a practice exam? A: No. The study guide, however, does contain sample questions
Q: What if I don’t pass the CCM exam? A: You may re-take the exam up to three times in a calendar year
Q: Do I have to pass the CMIT exam in order to apply for CCM? A: No. CMIT is waived if you fulfill all the requirements for CCM applications
Q: What if I am unable to contact the employer to verify my Responsible-In- Charge experience? A: There are instances where the person cannot be located or who may be deceased. In these cases, you may choose another individual who can attest to your RIC experience
