Transcripts We must have transcripts from all previous college and/or university coursework. Official - sealed and sent directly from the institution. Must be submitted directly by the university or college to the UTPA Graduate Office. Becomes UTPA property - not to be returned

Personal Statement What are your immediate and long-term career goals? How will graduate school help you obtain these goals? What experience, research, demonstrated skills and accomplishments have made you decide on and prepare you for this program? Describe experiences to demonstrate your abilities rather than listing them. Edit statement to ensure no grammar or spelling errors.
Recommendations Who should write my letters? Someone who can comment on your experience and abilities which are relevant to your chosen field. Most programs prefer to receive at least one letter from professors in your academic major. The strongest letters demonstrate an established personal relationship.
