World Cafe Pick a chart to start Make sure your group includes at least one teacher and one parent You will be given 5 minutes to respond to the guiding questions on the chart We will rotate through all the charts – everyone will have a chance to respond to each topic

Feedback + What I liked about the meeting... Δ The meeting could have been better if... Liked having teacher/parent combo Action oriented Lots of issues out on table Small groups Everyone’s voice heard Taking this VERY seriously Structure Hearing other’s opinions Meet new people Having input Timing was bad Missing Spanish families Better explanation of the content of meeting beforehand Agenda in advance Time Minutes (will be on website) Missing diversity of families in all ways Acoustics hampered discussions

Ticket to Leave Think about all the ideas that came up today. Which would you like to further develop with a team of staff and families? Write your first and last name on a Post It note and place it on ONE chart on your way out the door. This will define our working groups for our next meeting on Thursday, April 14 th from 3-4pm.
