IIT Ropar Project is being constructed at Ropar Punjab by the CPWD costing Rs crores. The resource efficient bricks are being utilized in the project in the following items of work: FALG bricks (80 Lakh), AAC blocks (2000 cum) Pond-ash : Plinth filling within buildings, road embankment and terracing (1.25 lakh cum).
