PLTW is the nation's leading science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) solution in over 5,000 schools across the U.S. PLTW enrollment in Texas has increased by over 400% over the last five years - Hispanic by over 500%; females nearly 600%; and low-income students by 650% PLTW students are more prepared for and attended Texas higher education institutions at a higher rate

What is HIBSA? Harmony Ingenuity Biomedical Sciences Academy (HIBSA) is a specialized training program for young healthcare professionals. The goal of HIBSA is to prepare our high school graduates for a career in the medical and health care discipline of their choice. give the students the academic foundation to be successful in career fields, such as dentistry, forensics, microbiology, biomedical engineering, immunology, pharmacology, physiology and many more. Stu-dents are required to complete job shadowing and community service hours as well as complete a graduation plan that mirrors a premedical tract in college Students regularly participate in community projects with local organizations such as the Childrens’ Doctors of Texas, Gulf Coast Regional Blood Bank, Stella Link Ani- mal Clinic, Center for Hearing and Speech, American Festival of the Arts and the Houston Ballet.
