Warming up: Discussion How many kinds of humor do you know? And examples? Can you name some famous actors or actresses who are good at humor? Do you think foreign people can understand all the Chinese humor? Give your reason.

failure n. a person or a thing that fails She said she was a failure as a manager. His first attempt at ice-skating was a miserable failure. lack of success 失败, 不成功 All of my efforts ended in failure.

overcome – overcame – overcome to deal with and control a problem or feeling He’s trying to overcome his drug addiction and find a job. Let’s hope she overcomes her shyness.
