Sample Introduction Modernists, or members of the “Lost Generation” were individuals with innovative minds. Among such intellectuals were writers such as F. Scott Fitzgerald, who contributed art to America through inimitable literature. In his highly esteemed novel, The Great Gatsby, he uses the modernist technique of carefully crafting the identities of his characters. Almost a century later, director Baz Luhrmann recreates the same characters through his 2013 film adaptation of the text. While the portrayals of the characters in the film are quite similar to those in the text, there are some evident differences as well.

Introduction & Conclusion Write your own introduction on a separate sheet of paper! Then, write your conclusion right underneath it. Be ready to share your work!
