Arc Catalog: Toolbars Customize Add Schema Wizard

Add Schema Wizard (Cont.) Case Tools Drag and drop Wizard into Arc Catalog

Dock Schema Wizard onto existing toolbar

Create a new Personal Geodatabase Right click New Personal Geodatabase

Select new Personal Geodatabase Schema Wizard is now active Select Schema Wizard

Browse to folder that contains NHD Model Feb xml Next

Use values from a previous run (Do not use default values)

Select Hydrography Properties Next

Select Show Details

Select Edit

Select a predefined coordinate system

Select Projected Coordinate Systems

Select UTM

Select Nad 1983

Select Zone 15N.prj

Apply selected projection / coordinate system

Verify projection / coordinate system has been applied

Select X/Y Domain tab Enter values for Min X, Max X, Min Y and Max Y OK

Select Z Domain tab Enter values for Min and Max (Use values below for all templates) OK

Select M Domain tab Enter values for Min and Max (Use values below for all templates) OK

Repeat select projection/coord system, XY domain, Z Domain and M Domain for HydrologicUnits Next

Finish

Verify Feature Dataset Properties for New Personal Geodatabase

Rename Personal Geodatabase to meaningful name
