Mailing List Bait What’s the quickest way to build a big list? - By offering a free eBook or report in exchange for their name and address. People often didn't realize they were signing up for a newsletter. Therefore, spam complaints came. People started using "throw away" accounts Which resulted in a low response rate. But there is a trick... Your report has to be related to your site, your newsletter, and any products you hope to sell in the future to this list. People who sign up for your newsletter must understand that they are signing up for a newsletter. The solution = make the “bait” the newsletter itself.

Autoresponder Content Ways to use PLR content for your autoresponder:  Take a PLR book and break each chapter into an autoresponder message. Tip: the best type of a PLR content for this purpose are the “tips” reports.  Give them some parts and offer them to buy the whole package. If the content is engaging and/or the reader is “desperate” to solve her problem, you can sell the very content you’re giving away for free! Keep in mind: Any content you load into an autoresponder should be “ever green.”
