Environmental Achievements at Eurogate Innovative Heat and Electricity generation 1987 – installation of a gas-fuelled power plant to simultaneously generate heat and electricity for office buildings and workshops 2006 – installation of a heating plant fuelled with waste dunnage wood in Bremerhaven 2007 – installation of 14 heat pumps for small remote buildings – e.g. at truckers check-in-points 2007 – deliberate analyses of wind mill installation in Bremerhaven -> outweighted by noise reduction and safety 2008 – wood fuelled heating plant in Hamburg
