Supplier Survey for Compliance - Supplier Overview February 2016 The information within this document is provided solely for general illustration and informational purposes and is intended to provide general guidelines and guidance and not specific recommendations or instructions. Given the differences among and within TE Business Units and/or ERP systems, there may be omissions or differences in information contained in this document.

What is the Supplier Survey for Compliance The SSC is the survey mechanism for TE Suppliers to respond on the compliance of parts / materials they provide to TE with regard to various product environmental regulations and industry initiatives including RoHS, REACH, Banned Substances. Low Halogen, etc. This survey system is comprised of six separate surveys, (General Information, Banned Substances, Low Halogen, RoHs, REACH, TE Supplied material Survey.) The answers on the General Information Survey will determine if the other surveys will require a response and, if so, the appropriate part numbers will flow to the subsequent surveys. page 3

Supplier Self-Registration Process page 5 To begin the Self-Registration process go to the Supplier Portal website: Click on the New User? Register link.

Supplier Self-Registration Beginning Tips *NOTE –Supplier Registration is available to you if you currently or have recently supplied products or services to TE Connectivity (TE). WHY REGISTER? The TE Supplier Portal offers secured access to applications such as: Compliance Surveys Receive Electronic Purchase Orders Respond to quote requests Improve order & inventory management Access Quality documents and applications Submit Electronic Invoices and Check Invoice Status The registration process is completed in THREE EASY STEPS! BEFORE YOU BEGIN - You will need to know your TE Supplier Number (ID) and one of the following: A TE Purchase Order Number An Invoice Number of an invoice your company submitted to TE Or a Complaint Number that was issued to you by TE. Your TE Supplier ID and a Purchase Order Number can be found on a purchase order received from TE. If needed, contact your TE buyer for support. After successful Registration 1.) Allow one hour for processing. After one hour your account will be active and you will be able to log into the TE Supplier Portal. After you successfully register, there are no additional notifications / s that are sent to you. 2.) To log into the TE Supplier Portal, you will use Your Address as your User Name and the password you establish during Step 1 of the registration process. page 6

Supplier Self-Registration Step #1 page 7 Registration – Step # 1 Supplier Tips Fill out Registration form Completely. Required fields are indicated by the asterisk * The State/Province field will be enabled if the country selected is Canada or US. “Password” and “Purchase Order” informational text box will display when clicking in the entry fields If you have any questions – click on the Supplier Support Center link and someone will contact you to provide you with assistance Once the form is completely filled out, click on Proceed to Step 2.

Supplier Self-Registration Step #1 page 8 Registration – Step # 1 Supplier Tips Continued… To successfully register and gain access to secured supplier applications you must provide one of the three valid combinations: A TE Purchase Order Number and your TE Supplier ID (PO Number must be at least one day old, not older than one year) An Invoice Number and your TE SAP Supplier ID (Invoice Number must be at least 7 days old) A TE Complaint Number and your SAP Supplier ID (Complaint Number must be 7 days old. If you select I do not have a Supplier Number and / or Open Purchase Order Number, you will not be able request access to any applications located on the TE Secured Supplier Portal.

The contains a link to complete your registration. You will need to click on the embedded link in the . The link takes you to the Step 3 screen to complete your registration. If you do not receive an then you should register again and ensure you entered your correctly. Or you can go back to Step 1 of Self Registration and click on the Supplier Support Center link for assistance.

Supplier Self-Registration Step #3 End User License Agreement / Confidential Disclosure Step 3 requires the password entered in Step 1 to be entered again to verify the registration, in addition the two Security Challenge Questions must be answered The End User License Agreement (EULA) also needs to be agreed to in order to complete the registration. The Supplier must agree to and electronically sign the Confidential Disclosure Agreement page 11

Once the CDA opens, please review it, then scroll to the bottom and electronically sign the CDA. The address you enter, must match the you entered on step one of the registration.
