Log into Skyward from the District homepage with your username and password. This is the Family Access Home Page. There are 2 ways to get to Online Registration: 1.Along the left, clicking the 1 st tab this will take you to Registration. 2.The center portion of the page contains the MESSAGE area where you can click on the link of for registration. Student Name Parent/Guardian Name

1.Select “My Account” 2.Check the box to “Show Google Translator In Family Access” 3.A “Select Language” box will appear. Select the language from the drop- down menu. This will allow you to change the language for the Online Registration. Student Name

The center of the page in Online Registration will have certain items filled in with the information currently in your student’s records. You may change/update some of the fields like Phone Number and Home address. Throughout the process, an asterisk (*) means that this is a required field. On the right side of the page, you can see that there are 4 steps to complete Online Registration for your student.

Student Demographic steps require Parents/Guardians to verify information that the District has is the most accurate for their student. Updating this, will allow us to have the most current information in case of an emergency. All 4 of these steps provide required information for your student. Step 4 Completes your Online Registration!

Step-by-Step Descriptions Below is a brief description of the information to be provided in each of the Online Registration steps. The following slides show screen shots of this process.  Student Demographic Forms (1a – 1e) provide the District with important information about your student and your family as well as advising Morton personnel if there are any critical alerts or health issues involving your child. Parent/Guardian names, addresses and contact phone numbers are required in case of emergency.  Parent Authorization Forms (2) cover acknowledgement that Parents and Students agree to: Code of Conduct in the Handbook Acceptable Use of Computers Authorization to release Photos/Videos of the student  Additional Forms Link (3) will take you to the District Registration website page. Here you may find more downloadable forms.

Student Demographic Form Detail Step 1a. Student Information: Will be verifying student’s information such as: 1.First/ Last name 2.Language 3.Home Phone # 4.Home # 5.Birth State/Country All fields that have an asterisk (*) must be filled out in order to continue.

Student Demographic Form Detail Step 1b. Family Address: Will be verifying student’s address. All fields that have an asterisk (*) must be filled out in order to continue.

Student Demographic Form Detail Step 1c. Family Information: Students home language is the Parent/Guardian preferred language. Type in your preferred language in this field. Example: SPANISH ENGLISH All fields that have a asterisk (*) must be filled out in order to continue.

Student Demographic Form Detail Step 1d. Critical Alert/Information: Will allow you to only see but not modify any Critical Alert Information, name of: Physician, Dentist, Hospital, Insurance, and Policy

Student Demographic Form Detail Step 1e. Emergency Information: Will be verifying emergency contacts. An emergency contact cannot be a Parent or Guardian. Please provide additional individual that can be contacted incase the Parent or Guardian is not available during an emergency. All fields that have a asterisk (*) must be filled out in order to continue.

Step 4: Parent Authorization Forms Acceptable Network/Computer Use Parent/Student Handbook Receipt Media Authorization

At any point during the Online Registration process, you may select “Close and Finish Later” to complete registration at another time. Step 4 lists the required forms which have been completed and which optional steps have been skipped. Click on Final Step to Complete Registration. By selecting “Print”, you will be able to save a hard copy of the online registration which you MUST show during registration. To complete online registration select the “Submit J.S Morton online Registration” tab. Turn in a copy of the confirmation page to your child’s school, along with current proof of address. Once you have completed the required steps, click “Close and Finish. If you choose to add, modify, or change any information please follow these steps. Registration has been marked as Completed for YOUR STUDENTS NAME for the school year. Click on the student name to re-open registration in order to make changes.

 You will need to complete the entire process for each student attending grades 10 through 12. If the student is not linked to a family, please use the “Contact Us” button and let us know so that the accounts can be consolidated. Be sure to select the proper school for each student.  Address Changes require approval by the Operations Office at your child’s campus prior to changes taking effect in Skyward. 5 proofs of residency are required for any address change and must be brought to the Operations Office by the parent/student. Please see required residency documents on the Morton website.  Parents/Guardians may make appointments with each school’s Parent Liaison for assistance with Online Registration. Notes and Reminders:
