Presidential Mural: Each group will be assigned a president to study in more detail. Read the biography of your president and discuss his most important achievements. Begin creating your mural: A mural tells a story through pictures. Create a design using pictures and symbols to show who your president was, his accomplishments, and what was happening in the United States during his presidency.

Steps to completing your mural: 1.Read the biography about your person 2.Brainstorm things about your president and major events/accomplishments of his presidency 3.Plan mural on scrap paper (get scrap paper from art corner!) 4.Begin mural (finish as much as you can, you will have some time next class!)
