Ashlee Panel Shop is a 100% black owned business with a Level 1 rating that provides a Motor Body Repair Service to Government, Insurance Companies, Corporates, Fleet business, Rental companies and the general public. Ashlee Panel Shop was established in 1998 and has been trading as a Panel Beating, Spray painting and Mechanical Repair Shop in the Bloemfontein market since then. The business is equipped to do Major Structural repairs and Speed repairs.

Our People

Mr Ashlee Nankoo is the 100% owner of the business. He has extensive industry and technical experience, including being an entrepreneur and business owner for 25 years. Mr Nankoo, a devout family man with strong commitment to growing young people, is a trained spray painter, colour matcher and estimator spanning at least twenty years. He is an industry leader in being the Provincial Chairperson in the Free State for SAARSA. He is also a member of SAMBRA and the RMI. His skills set includes Marketing, Customer Relations, Panel beating, Networking, Project coordination and general business management

Our Equipment & Facilities

Along with their trusted EZ Chief straightening rack, they have moved up to a full sized jig bench and a pair of speed benches in the new shop. “We’re looking to push up our finished car production rate to over 100 cars a month as the shop finds its rhythm going forward.” The company’s financial investment of for premises and equipment looks to be money well spent. Standox is the refinish paint system of choice and it was supplied by the Maroun’s Group. With all the changes in production output technology this 100% BEE (Level 1) rated business looks well set for the next decade to come.

The size of the business premises is 3400 sq/m and provides for stripping and assembly. It has imported Aer-O-Cure spray booths and an administration block with up-market reception facilities for clients. The workshop has the capacity to accommodate at least 40 cars. Our Facilities
