A serious offense or not? Cyber bullying is what occurs amongst children of all ages but mainly preteens and teenagers where one is tormented, harassed or humiliated by another or more through social networking on the internet or via text message.

Why is it so Important? 1/3 children has been a victim to cyberbullying Nearly half of suicides among years old are due to bullying 1 in 7 teachers is a victim of cyberbullying Almost a third of girls have been threatened online, compared to 13% of boys. Girls are at higher risk than boys
Those who died fighting ▧ Amanda Todd had only made a mistake to trust the company of a stranger. ▧ After a year, the stranger began to blackmail her with a personal picture and then it began circulating on the internet including a Facebook profile that used her picture to bully her.
▧ Her reputation was ruined, she had to change schools, was beaten up by classmates. ▧ Eventually, she killed herself on October 10th, 2012.
Those who survived ▧ Ally was only 13 and in 8th grade ▧ Her suicide attempt was the result of years of bullying abuses for being called fat to receiving 272 messages on her Tumblr account that was about telling her to kill herself.
▧ She recovered later and posted a video on her page ‘Losergurl.com' about her past story that later went viral. ▧ She used this page to help other victims stand up for themselves.
