Common Nouns: Special Plurals Lesson 25

Plural Nouns There are special rules for forming the plurals of some nouns. For a noun ending in a vowel + o, add s. For a noun ending in a consonant + o, add s or es.

Plural Nouns For all musical terms ending in o, add s. For some nouns ending in f or fe, change the f to v and add es. Some plural nouns have a special form that does not end in s.

Plural Nouns Some nouns do not change form at all when they are made plural.

Guided Practice 1. Three deer ran across the field. Three deers ran across the field.
