The Violin The violin is an instrument that some people play in the orchestra. The violin is in the string family. The violin was developed in Italy in the 16th century. The violin is the leader of the orchestra. The violin is the baby of the string family so like a baby it makes the highest sounds of the string family.

The Saxophone The saxophone is an instrument that some people play in the orchestra. The saxophone is in woodwind family. The saxophone was invented by the Belgian instrument maker Adolphe Sax in The saxophone is very popular in the military band. The saxophone is played mostly in the jazz band.

The Clarinet The clarinet is an instrument that some people play in the orchestra. The clarinet is in the wood wind family. A person who plays the clarinet is called a clarinettist. Johann Christoph Denner invented the clarinet in Germany around the turn of the 18th century by adding a register key to the earlier chalumeau. Today the clarinet is used in jazz and classical music. The tone quality can vary greatly with the musician, the music, the instrument, the mouthpiece, and the reed.

Feedback Harry, the task for this homework was to only produce a presentation about 1 of the instruments of the orchestra. From this you should have gone into detail about that specific instrument.
