 Born Dec. 9, 1967 (42 Yrs.)  In Bloomington, Indiana  Started playing Violin at age 4 after creating songs on rubberbands he put around the knobs of his dresser.  Teachers included Donna Bricht, Mimi Zweig & Josef Gingold  Age 12 Decided to become serious with violin studies.  Born Dec. 9, 1967 (42 Yrs.)  In Bloomington, Indiana  Started playing Violin at age 4 after creating songs on rubberbands he put around the knobs of his dresser.  Teachers included Donna Bricht, Mimi Zweig & Josef Gingold  Age 12 Decided to become serious with violin studies.

Education  Age 14 - Performed as soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra.  Studied violin at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music  Graduated from High school in 1984; two years ahead of schedule.  Bell received an Artist Diploma in Violin Performance  Indiana University awarded him with a Distinguished Alumni Service Award only 2 years after his graduation.  Age 14 - Performed as soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra.  Studied violin at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music  Graduated from High school in 1984; two years ahead of schedule.  Bell received an Artist Diploma in Violin Performance  Indiana University awarded him with a Distinguished Alumni Service Award only 2 years after his graduation.
