Department of Community Development and Planning 2015 Budget Presentation May 31, 2014

Mission Statement The Department of Community Development & Planning will perform short and long range planning for the community by using current methods to identify and implement community goals. The Department will help to coordinate efforts of various boards and commissions to streamline processes and accomplish these goals. The Department will also utilize the technical skills of department staff, exercise of appropriate regulatory control and the implementation of policies, program initiatives and services which impact upon the community’s growth and development. The Department will also continue to manage the premier function facility in the Town and thereby raise community awareness.

Staff Changes Senior Planner Danielle Evans left, hired Andrea Adams Patricia Mihelich came and left as conservation clerk, currently recruiting

Comprehensive Plan Staff and our consultant have been hard at work conducting public outreach meetings and drafting plan content. Next public meeting regarding complete draft of the Plan will be in June, review and adoption by the Planning Board and Town Council to follow.
