Faculty meetings Please come as often as you can Parliamentary procedure (quorum, etc.) Opportunities – Discuss business: don’t be afraid of mike – Introduce motion, amendment – Vote – Request secret ballot (need 10) – Announcements

Resources Your chair, senior faculty – Routine, quick questions, especially about your department Telephone directory – Find out where a certain employee works Catalogues (past & present) – Overview, calendar, degrees of faculty – Essential info for students – Course offerings
