QRP = CONTINOUS IMPROVEMENT  The QRP was developed collaboratively with all WI Technical Colleges and the WI Technical College System state office as a guideline for colleges to utilize ‘data’ as a means of effective evaluation and improvement of it’s:  Programs  Apprenticeships  Basic/General Education divisions  Student Services  Other College divisions & departments

Southwest Tech conducts QRP’s on a 5 year cycle with this basic structure: Plan Review Study Adjust

 INDICATORS definition: indicators are quantitative data that provide a measure of some aspect of program’s/service’s performance against which changes in performance can be compared.  SCORECARDS definition: performance reports of indicator data - supplied by the college to the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) through client reporting

State IndicatorsDefinition C200 Course Completion Percentage of students in a program who successfully completed at least 80% of the courses they took in the report year. C400 Special Population Completion Percentage of Special Populations students in a program who successfully completed at least 80% of the courses they took in the report year. C600 Minority Course Completion Percentage of Minority students in a program who successfully completed at least 80% of the courses they took in the report year. F200 2nd Year Retention Percentage of First Time Program Students who started the program in the previous year and are still enrolled or graduated from the program in either year. F400 3 rd Year Retention Percentage of First Time Program Students who started 3 years ago and are still enrolled in year 3 or graduated from the program in any of the 3 years. F600 3rd Year Graduation Percent of First Time Program Students graduating from the program within three years. F800 Fifth Year Graduation Percent of First Time Program Students graduating from the program within five years. I300 Job Placement – All Employment Percent of most recent graduates responding to the graduate follow up survey, in the labor market and reporting employment. I600 Job Placement – Related Employment Percent of most recent graduates responding to the graduate follow up survey, in the labor market and reporting training related to employment. J500 Non-Traditional Enrollment Percent of students in the program that are of a gender designated as “nontraditional” for the occupation related to the program. This will be N/A for some programs.
