“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” -Hippocrates

Body Self Heals We just need to support it Health is a natural state of body. Try not to alter physiology with chemicals. Chronic inflammation – body doesn’t get enough time or help to heal and repair How does the body heal ? Proper Nutrition and Supplements Eliminate toxins Fasting on regular basis Deep Breathing Meditation Exercise Deep Sleep

Nutrition Water, Air, Sunshine Vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds (in proper form) Properly prepared legumes, and grains (Refer Nourishing Traditions by Sally Falcon) I realized each food category should be eaten in a specific way: Oils (Should not be processed or refined) Nuts, Seeds, Grains (Should not be eaten directly without soaking, sprouting or fermenting) Milk (Avoid A1 milk or best to avoid overall) Starches and Animal Protein should not be combined.

Superfoods became a part of our routine Seeds: Chia, Flax, Hemp, Pumpkin Grains: Quinoa, Millets, Amaranth Seasonal Fruits and Veggies: Avocado, Blueberries, Pomegranate, Mangoes, Figs, etc Dried Fruits: Goji Berries, Mulberries, Raisins Spices and Herbs: Turmeric, Cinnamon, Garlic, Ginger, etc Nuts: Organic Unpasteurized Almonds, Walnuts, etc. Coconut: Young Coconut water, Coconut kefir Oils: Grass Fed Organic Cultured Ghee or Coconut Oil Sprouted Beans, Lentils, and so on…

Back to Roots Started to question myself how our grandparents used to eat food: Fruits and Vegetables and Nuts and Seeds Fermented food daily (natural probiotic source) Apple Cider Vinegar Plenty of water Grains only if fermented or sprouted or at least soaked overnight.

Fasting How to do fasting: Intermittent Fasting (Stop eating completely for 12 hours from sleep time to breakfast time) Fasting with only Alkaline Diet Fasting with only Fruits and Vegetables Fasting with just Juices with no fiber Complete Fasting with no food giving Digestive system complete relief (Can eat honey and lemon intermittently in limited quantities)
