Prior to Scheme Christine’s 1 st consultation measurements: Weight72kg Waist98cm Blood Pressure149/96 Lifestyle: Christine had been in recovery from her knee replacement. She was very nervous about doing any exercise, in case it done more damage. She lead a sedentary lifestyle, increasing her blood pressure and range of movement.
Christine’s 16 weeks During the 16 week programme, she attended aqua aerobics and the gym tasters sessions 2 x per week. In her 4 week appointment she explained how the range of movement had improved on her leg and that she was now able to use the upright bike. She also described how much more energy she has.
Post 16 weeks Lifestyle changes 16 week12 month Weight69kg72kg Waist94cm93cm Blood Pressure127/79119/75 Christine is more than happy with her achievements. She hasn’t lost much weight but has completely changed shape, her clothes are a size smaller. Her blood pressure has decreased and has seen a massive improvement in her knee. She continues to exercise 3 – 4 x week and quotes ‘the best thing she has ever done.’
