Songs can help learners improve their listening skills and pronunciation Songs can improve their speaking skills (Murphy, 1992) Songs can add simple basic essential phrases.(such as thank you, please, how are you, can you, etc...)

Music provides students with phrase stress and intonation patterns in English. Songs can provide themes and contex for vocabulary practices. They are usually based around a theme or topic that can provide the context for vocabulary learning. It’s fun for all! It engages students and increases motivation.
