These are some different kinds of penguins: Adelie, Gentoo, Emperor, African, Southern Rockhopper and Crested. Penguins live in Antarctica. Their enemy is a leopard seal. They have a storage place so that they can feed the food to their baby. They have a pouch where there baby stays. They can stay under water for about 22 minutes.

Adelie Penguins Adelie penguins have white circles round their eyes. They also have a tail that is longer than that of other species. Their beak has a red colour to it but the tip of it is black. They are short and wide and often look overweight. They have very powerful feet which help them to get around on the ice. They can also leap from the water to land without slipping or sliding. They have an unbelievable grip which allows them to survive in cold Antarctica.
