The places, where they live He lives in Lapland, in the house near the lake. Father Frost has his residence in the town of Veliki Ustyug in Vologda region.

Family He has a wife: mrs. Claus. She has white hair in a bun-style hairdo, a red dress, a white apron, and eyeglasses. She is usually a calm, kind, and patient woman, often in contrast to Santa himself. He has a granddaughter Snegurochka (the Snow Maid), who helps him play with kids and present the gifts. She symbolizes frozen waters. White colour is traditional for the Snow Maid. On her head she wears a crown decorated with silver.

How they move He flies in many – deers open sledge. He rides in three- horses open sledge or skis.
