11-12 HIGHLIGHTS We received the Platinum Chapter Award!! This was only given to nine Virginia high schools!!!! BHS DECA was one of eleven VA high schools who received the Diamond Membership Award!!

11-12 COMPETITION HIGHLIGHTS 36 people competed at DLC 9 people officially made it to states at DLC! 35 members attended SLC 9 people made the stage at SLC! Kids Helping Kids received 1 st place at SLC for their Community Service project (Sara Richa, Michelle Neitzey, & Casey Stein)

11-12 HIGHLIGHTS Together we raised over $8000 for American Cancer Society, MDA, St. Jude’s, Ronald McDonald House.

11-12 HIGHLIGHTS Collected over 1,000 pairs of jeans for local thrift shops Collected over 200 gifts for The BARN Raised over $4900 for Relay for Life by participating in a 12 hour event Held three car washes Coordinated a Knock Out Bullying bowling night Held a successful car show benefiting American Cancer Society Participated in Walk Like MADD Coordinated Turkey Teacher for the eighth year in a row! Held a successful Dig Pink Volleyball Game Attempted the World Record Largest Duck,Duck, Goose game while raising over $1500 to a little girl with cancer Hosted a Gravely ES Game Night with over 30 kids
