Mounting in the return downstream of filters is preferable, but the supply is also acceptable. Return mounting allows the elimination or prevention of dirty sock syndrome and treats the evaporator coil.

This button can also be used to change the days between cleaning cycles to 1, 5, 10 or 20 days. Simply press the cleaning button once and while the display shows “CLEA” hold the button in again for five seconds and when numbers appear, press the button until you see the number of days you want to to go between cleaning cycles.

Global Plasma Solutions GPS-iClean Digital Display The GPS-iClean will flash “GPS,” “ON,” and a number such as “1” during normal operation. The numeral indicates the days the unit has been in operation. It will also flash “CLEA” when it’s in the cleaning mode and “FALT” when there is a unit fault.

Extensive testing has shown the emitters in most cases will not need to be replaced under normal operating conditions, but they have been designed for easy replacement in the event they do wear out in 20 years!
