THIS PROJECT IS CO-FUNDED BY Current State of Affairs Public dialogue on the second phase of the Common European Asylum System (CEAS) Aim of the second phase (to be concluded until 2010): –To achieve both a higher common standard of protection and greater equality in protection across the E.U. and to ensure a higher degree of solidarity between E.U. member states Commission’s Green paper –Legislative instruments –Implementation – accompanying measures –Solidarity and burden sharing (Evaluation of the first phase in parallel)
