Immanuel: God With Us "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" – which means, "God with us." –Matthew 1:23

There are not saviors–there is The Savior, Jesus "She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." –Matthew 1:21

There are not redeemers– there is The Redeemer, Jesus Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." –Galatians 3:13

There may be many lords; there is only one Lord of Lords–Jesus and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. –Philippians 2:11

There are many kings, but Jesus is The King of Kings which God will bring about in his own time–God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, –1 Timothy 6:15

There are many kings, but Jesus is The King of Kings On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. –Revelation 19:16

If only my Dad would step out of that picture and be real GOD BECAME FLESH–HE IS IMMANENT

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. –John 1:14 GOD BECAME FLESH–HE IS IMMANENT

GOD BECAME FLESH–HE UNDERSTANDS US  He "feels with us."  An example of compassion

BECAUSE GOD BECAME FLESH,  WE KNOW HE IS NEAR.  WE KNOW HE UNDER- STANDS US.  WE IDENTIFY WITH HIM–WE CAN REALLY KNOW HIM
