SUDAN AND TURKEY Sudan, which can be considered a doorway to Africa, is one of the largest countries in Africa. Sudan also had decent relations with Turkey in the past and these relations are still in a very good state. Sudan offers direct access to 7 African countries and indirect access to 10 countries with ease. In other words, it is the entrance hall of the continent’s home Administrators in the Sudan Government and Sudanese people have a sense of affection to Turkey and Turkish people. With the private sector investment and governmental contribution realized in recent years, this affection is getting stronger and stronger.

Turkish courses at various levels for Sudanese Vocational and Technical trainers and programmes promoting Turkish culture and traditions can be organized with the support of the Yunus Emre Institution, Ministry of National Education, The Directorate for Turks Abroad and Relative Communities, TIKA, Sudan-Turk Vocational and Technical Education Center for Trainers. On the other hand Sudanese party can also hold Arabic courses for Turkish academician and can organize programmes promoting Sudanese culture.

Vocational and Technical Education Courses in Sudan and Turkey for Sudanese Academician/ Teachers / Students The vocational and technical education courses for Sudanese, academician/ teachers and students can be provided both in Sudan and in universities in Turkey with the help of interpreters.

Vocational and Technical Education Courses in Sudan The vocational and technical education courses can be provided in Sudan-Turk Vocational and Technical Education Center for Trainers, academicians and teachers and other Vocational and Technical Education Centers or Technical Universities which meet the adequate workshop and laboratory infrastructure for 2-8 weeks duration by the trainers coming from Turkish Universities.

Vocational and Technical Education Courses in Turkey The Sudanese Vocational and Technical Trainers can be trained in the fields of Vocational and Technical Education in Turkish Universities that will be cooperated in 2-8 weeks duration.

Training the Administrators of Vocational and Technical Education Center in the field of Management The training of Ministry Management team and Directors and Vice-Directors, the Executive Secretaries of Vocational and Technical Education Centers in Sudan and Khartoum State by expert Turkish trainers within the scope of developing relations with the business World in a two weeks duration in Sudan and a two weeks duration in Turkey can be a beneficial effort for the future of Sudanese Vocational and Technical Education Centers.

Creating a Budget for the Vocational and Technical Education Turkish and Sudan Universities can benefit from related public institutions for the finance of the courses in the field of Vocational and Technical Education that will be provided both in Sudan and Turkey. The institutions and organizations that can contribute in Turkey side. 1. Conclusion «The Sudanese –Turkish Relationship from Past to Present and Opportunities For Future «International Conference which is held in Khartum, the capital of Sudan between February 08-10,2016. The cooperation agreements will be signed during and after the conference to strengt the link between our Universities and Governmental organizations. the communication must be kept alive and our cooperation network ( should be used more frequently.
