Nature of Position: Coordinates, organizes and heads efforts to represent the City of Las Cruces favorably in the community. Coordinates and plans programs, activities and special events presented by the City. Promotes good will and fosters relationships with the community.
Coordinates city services for special events presented at City facilities by community groups and civic organizations; supervises and trains special events staff; negotiates agreements and contracts; expedites purchasing and funding for materials for events.
