Community Relations: Principles Community Relations is about cultivating relationships with: Public (our clients and potential clients) Partners Ensuring that community relations and customer service is part of our culture Customer Service Representatives, Clinical Assistants, Nurses, Administration, etc.
Outreach & Marketing: Strategy Goals based on Strategic Plan: Develop program driven advertising and awareness campaigns. Develop joint marketing collaborations to promote public health. Develop relationships with non-traditional partners. Key is to proactively manage relationships with clients, existing partners, and new partners.
Public Outreach / Marketing: Tactics Onsite Marketing Reception area improvement, multi-media Take Home Marketing Sticky advertising Online Marketing Website, mobile website, Facebook, Twitter, Public Health Alerts (13,000 web visits, 100 mobile calls) Offline Marketing Local newspapers, movie theaters, local businesses, etc.
Outreach & Marketing: Application Examples of efforts: WIC “Before the Movie” 500,000 viewings over 6 month period WIC and District Facebook page with over 600 participants / likes WIC radio ads heard by thousand of people each month. (32 spots - 4 radio stations, 4 websites, and thousands of listeners) = 1,000+ listeners each day Working with local, small publications Promotions at private and public locations (Fairfield) Multi-media promotion in reception
