June 2013 Updates: The girls go crazy together!

I had a rare day of peace and quiet with both girls in school and day care, so managed to tidy up the living room\play room!

I set up different corners to play in, including a reading corner (below)

So nice and rare, everything tidy...

The girls really liked the new set up. Alma especially liked the reading corner... and then she made up a “horse” from a large paper roll.

The girls enjoyed making colourful pasta necklaces

I found a stickers workbook both girls could enjoy together: Fashion across history! The girls both enjoyed comparing the centuries and countries, observing how in olden days people wore many layers, and learned how men and women changed their styles over the years. Fun & educational!

Another workbook the girls enjoyed was this quirky “make-a-face” set, which they asked to buy with their own money. They made some very odd designs and had a laugh!

Alma found the Mosaics workbook was too hard and asked Hahgoot for some help. Hahgoot wanted to find out what happens if you dip watercolours in milk.

Everyone is studying hard in our house!
