LET’S LEARN How To Learn!

Index 1. Focus Mode & Diffuse Mode 2. Chunking 3. Pomodoro Technique

Focus Mode & Diffuse Mode  There are two different learning styles. One is ‘Diffuse Mode’. And the other is ‘Focus Mode’. Today we are going to study more about these study modes!

Focus mode has tight spacing for the rubber bumpers which seems to, in some sense, help keep your thoughts concentrated(In this lecture). We can devide focus mode into seven pieces. Let’s learn about it more deeply. How to focus? 7 Give yourself incentives to finish. This is an important part of developing good study habits. Deep down we are all five year olds who just want a candy bar. Let your treat be a chat with friends, a healthy snack, or even a night on the town if you finish a big project. 6 Mix it up. Study one subject for an hour, take a break, and then continue with another subject. It's natural to want variety so that you stay interested in what you are trying to learn. If you find a particular subject boring, sandwich it between two subjects you enjoy. 5 Use active reading techniques to keep your brain from wandering off. Reading is only as effective as the information you remember, so challenge yourself by asking questions as you go. Try looking away from the page and summarizing out loud what you just read. Make notes on what you don't understand and follow up with the instructor. 4 Minimize distractions, including cell phones, and social networking sites. Noise is okay if you need the sound of music or television in the background; if you need total silence, invest in ear plugs. If you are distracted by shiny objects, keep your head down so you see only the page in front of you. Just think, the better your concentration, the sooner you'll be done 3 Begin at the beginning, and make a plan if you're not sure where that is. Especially around finals or when approaching a term paper, just thinking about work involved can literally induce panic. Start your study session by making a list of what you need to get done. Break large projects up into easily digestible chunks, and give yourself plenty of time to complete each one. 2 Choose a time to study. Everybody has points in the day when they are sharpest, whether be in the calm morning hours or after a workout. To develop good study habits, start at the same time each day and plan your other activities around this period. 1 Pick a spot to study. If you find the right place and keep coming back to it, you will condition your brain to focus when the time comes to crack the books. Find a place where you can spread out your materials. Think about whether you concentrate best in complete seclusion or with some background activity. Any location you pick should be well lighted and ventilated.

Chunking  Chunking is some of memorizing way. It makes groups of knowledge or stream which explain detail contents. If we use chunking, we can memorize some main points of studying more easily. And Let’s move on to more difficult content. We are going to study about how can we apply chunking on our study!

This is chunking!

How can we apply chunking You can apply the chunking principle to the content you create for marketing your business by being more aware of the limitations of your audience’s working memory and by using the following best practices 1.Select no more than 3 or 4 main ideas to present in a typical piece of content. 2. Group related information under those 3 or 4 main ideas. In this way, the supporting information reinforces the main points, but it is clear to the audience that they really only need to focus on remembering the 3-4 main points. 3. Clearly identify which points of information are most important for the reader/viewer. You can do this through the use of formatting and labeling. 4. Use formatting techniques, such as bullet points, short lines, headings and subheadings, to structure the content for easy scanning.

Pomodoro Technique  The easiest way to tackle procrastinations to use the ‘Pomodoro Technique’. That brief 25 minute stretch of focused concentration, followed by a bit of mental relaxation. It's through practice and repetition that we can help enhance and strengthen the neural structures we‘re building as we‘ (According to this lectures)

Korean Pomodoro Technique  In korea, twenty five minutes is too short to study. Because, in korean school, our studying time cycle is almost fifty minutes at noon and one hour fifty minutes at night. Our studying time should be more longer than twenty five minutes. So I change a little bit about pomodoro technique into my own skill. First, I will take real rest between studying time! I will spend 20minutes to rest after studying. Second, I will spend time so valuable. I will never abandon my time. I will study whole time for one hours fifty minutes. Last, I should keep my promise. At first time, keeping these promises is goint to be hard. But I never give up. I want to see my new figure which changed a lot

Thank you for watching !!! Good luck for your studying Source of pictures : content/ content/ utf8&query=%EA%B3%BC%EB%85%81&x=0&y=0 utf8&query=pomodoro&x=0&y=0
