You will have to type in the Username and Password.  During school hours Username – jrspop Password – wcsd Please go to the box marked “movie of the week.” Your child will know how to watch the movie. Let them take over from here. When you are done, feel free to explore the rest of this site.

Click on the words “Spelling City” above. This will lead you to a sight that will help your child with their weekly spelling list. It will also allow me to keep track of their spelling practice and practice tests. Your child must first log in with their Student Username and Student Password. The Username is unique to each child but the password is the same for everyone – (hi) Let your child demonstrate how to use this interactive site.

Click on the words “Mind Play” above. Mind Play is a technology based language arts program. We have been using this program for a trial period. It gives instruction on Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Grammar, Reading Fluency, Vocabulary and Comprehension.

Click on the words “Xtra Math”. This will lead you to a site that will help your child with fluency of basic math facts. It will also allow me to keep track of their math practice. Our Classroom Code is VADY7B Your child knows their pin number to get to their level of practice. Let your child demonstrate how to use this interactive site.

Click on the words “Starfall”. This will lead you to a fun reading and interactive game site that will help your child with phonics and other reading skills. It also has access to interactive math games. No pin number is necessary for this free educational site. Let your child demonstrate how to use this site.

Click on the words “Raz Kids”. This will lead you to a site that is designed to meet your child’s specific reading level and needs. This site also provides reading in Spanish. It also allows me to monitor their progress as they read more books. Every time they log in they will have an opportunity to earn star points that they can use to purchase things for their Raz Rocket. Let your child demonstrate how to use this interactive site.

Click on the words “Book Flix”. This will lead you to a site that will read well known books with pictures to your child. First you must type in the Username and Password. Username – jrsmith Password - bookflix Let your child demonstrate how to use this interactive site.

This site focuses on reading comprehension. It uses the Spanish language to reinforces key words and helps students answer questions about their reading.

This site helps students with sentence structure, grammar and punctuation. It starts with a basic level and increases in difficulty.

These two sites teach students about subtraction. They are entirely in Spanish and will help student become more fluent with their math vocabulary.
