The TC3 has been specifically designed for use on helicopters (with suitable under slung load capacity) to treat large oil spills with dispersant chemicals. No modifications to helicopter required – can be operated via control system inside aircraft Safety – diesel rather than petrol operation. Easily jettisoned from inside aircraft No modifications to helicopter required –can be operated via control system inside aircraft Cost effective – can be operated down to height 10 metres to reducing wastage of dispersant

Oil recovery solutions since 1967 TC3 - Dispersant How does is it work? Engine started – dispersant pumped via centrifugal pump through an electrically operated 3 way ball valve to hopper. When ball valve position is changed to ‘spray’, dispersant is pumped direct to short spray arm (6.1m). Pilot can change to long arm (9.1m) via second 3 way ball valve. Flow rate is set by a relief valve.

Ease of Use - No modifications to the helicopter are required, as the TC3 can be operated completely independently via a control system located inside the aircraft. Cost Effective - The unit can operate down to a height of 10 metres, allowing a small area of coverage to be achieved, and therefore reducing wastage. Assembly - The TC3 is very easy to assemble as it requires no special tools, and can be completed by untrained personnel.

Rapid Deployment - The system can be set up, ready to operate in around 5 minutes, making it ideal for use in emergency situations. Dispersant Coverage -The spray width can be adjusted to between 6.1 metres and 9.1 metres in flight via the remote control box, depending on the area of coverage required.
