Strategic Partnership for the Mediterranean Sea Large Marine Ecosystem Two Main Elements 1.Regional Component – implementation of agreed actions for the protection of the environmental resources of the Med. Sea and its coastal areas 2.Investment Fund – to be developed by the World Bank

Strategic Partnership for the Mediterranean Sea Large Marine Ecosystem Components of the Full Project:- 1.Facilitation of policy and legislative reforms for SAP MED an SAP BIO a)Legal, institutional and policy reforms b)Develop and implement policies and legislation to address causes of environmental degradation in Med Sea c)Multi-stakeholder participation d)Strengthen planning and management capacities e)Sustainable management and financing for implementation of SAP MED
