Muscle Rap

All major functions To move your body (skeletal muscle and tendons) To help digestion (smooth muscle) To pump blood (cardiac muscle)

All major organs The smooth muscle The cardiac muscle The skeletal muscle Tendons

How the muscular system works For voluntary muscles your brain sends messages to your muscles. The messages tell the muscles to contract or expand. Your muscle then contracts and expands you can’t control involuntary muscles your brain does tell them what to do but you don’t.
