Rounding Decimals When rounding decimals, we use the same method as rounding whole numbers Round to the nearest hundreds: 6588 Round to the nearest hundredths: 6.588
Rounding Decimals Zeros in the ENDING decimal places can be “thrown out” **different from rounding whole #s. When rounding whole #s keep the zeros on the end Example: Round to the nearest tenth:
