AP Psychology draws upon findings of other sciences: PhysicsChemistryBiologyPsychology Gives us instruments to measure… How body’s chemistry relates to mood, performance & personality as well as… Sense organs’ Nervous system’s Glands’ Brain’s functions Focus is on BEHAVIOR “Hard Sciences”

AP Psychology also utilizes the “Soft Sciences” Anthropology: “culture” Sociology: “groups” Philosophy : Socrates, Plato, Aristotle How people are affected by their surroundings How individuals behave in groups within a particular culture How are the mind and body connected?
