Station #1: Universal Design for Learning (UDL) What is UDL you ask? UDL is “a set of principles for curriculum development that give all individuals equal opportunities to learn” (CAST, 2012). This means that it is for all learners, not just some. The most essential information about UDL is : The Principles Multiple means of representation to give learners various ways of acquiring information and knowledge; Multiple means of expression to provide learners alternatives for demonstrating what they know; and Multiple means of engagement to tap into learners' interests, challenge them appropriately, and motivate them to learn (Edyburn, 2013). The audience, The Hook: I have a question, do you have an answer? The information: I have an answer, do you have a question!

UDL at a glance [Video file]. Retrieved from Each station will have some type of technology implemented into it, whether it be a Smart Phone, I-pad, Laptop, or computer. The impact that UDL has on teaching is that it shows us how we as educators can be creative in implementing a flexible learning environment for all learners. “Technology needs to be carefully planned into the curriculum as a way to achieve the goals” (CAST, 2014).

Interaction This bond that we will be voting on needs to be understood, not underestimated. How the community could interact with this station to increase their interest and appreciation for educational use of technology is by having access to hands-on experience, as well as through discussions of questions and answers. As I said earlier, there will be some type of technology at each station for them to do so.

Station #2: Technology and UDL for All Learners Mission, Belief, and Goals: Our mission: is to prepare our students and community for the future (both young and old). Our beliefs: are to acquire knowledge, envision the future, and to expect success. Our Goals: are to work hand in hand with everyone to achieve the goal of enhancing our educational environment, to serve all students needs, and to strive to be leaders in education to prepare our students to both live and work in the real world.

Course and/or Program Offerings 1.Before and after school tutoring (Grades K-12). 2.Online classes (Grade 12 & Adult Ed. Classes). 3.Computer Lab Program (Grades K-12). 4.Summer School (Grades K- 12 & Adult Ed.). 5.Adult Education Classes 6.Teaching in Early Childhood (CTE Students). 7.Machine Tool Technology (CTE). 8.Computer Science (CTE).

Station #3: 21st-Century Skills Acquisition and Employability Technology and 21st-Century Skills: One specific course that integrates technology is Computer Science. The 21 st Century skills learned from Computer Science is Information, Media, & Technology skills as well as Life and Career skills. ICT: Use technology as a tool to research, organize, evaluate and communicate information Use digital technologies (computers, PDAs, media players, GPS, etc.), communication/networking tools and social networks appropriately to access, manage, integrate, evaluate and create information to successfully function in a knowledge economy Apply a fundamental understanding of the ethical/legal issues surrounding the access and use of information technologies (P21, n.d.).

Tools and Interaction Tools: Machine Tool Technology: tools used are cutting tools, press tools, and controls Computer Science: Computer Systems, Networking, Video Game Controls, and the World Wide Web. Interaction: Learning at any age is not impossible. With the pure fact that technology is only growing, makes it more interesting to learn and to want to learn. If students of any age are being presented with multiple ways to learn and succeed, what would be holding them back? Merely by having the hands-on experience available to them gives them more incentive and appreciation for technology. It allows them to express and engage themselves in a way that they give themselves motivation to learn.

New Technology Both the school and the community will benefit from the approved bond. Technology will be at the fingertips of all. Student’s, Staff, and the Community can work and learn from one another. Since technology is our future we as individuals need to learn as much as we can. Our students are becoming more computer literate, our jobs are more technology based, this means we all need to be prepared to meet all demands of the 21 st century. With implementation and integration of different technologies used in the classroom, this gives a different meaning to learning. Technology opens our eyes and opportunities to the way we learn in the real world.
