Polices & Procedures 1. Entering the classroom: You must enter the classroom before the second bell rings. Come in quietly and place your homework on your desk. Take out your binder and begin the bell work. If the room is set up to do a lab, DO NOT touch or play with any the materials unless given permission to do so. 2. Exiting the classroom for dismissal: Prior to leaving the classroom, you must make sure that all classroom materials are put away properly, your area is clean and all papers are off the floor. Students will not be dismissed until authorized by Teacher. 3. Movement within the classroom: Students will be told what type of movement is allowed for each activity each day 4. Bathroom Breaks: No restroom breaks will be allowed during lecture, labs, quizzes or exams. Students will be given 3 bathroom passes per quarter. On 3 rd visit student will receive written warning as consequence 5. Homework/Classwork: Classwork is expected to be turned in on the day assigned unless an extension is given or the student is absent. Homework will be collected after bell work. Students are expected to complete homework and have it ready for the following class period. If they are absent the class prior it is their responsibility to obtain their makeup. You have one day for every day that you were out to make up the classwork and homework. Unexcused late work will be graded with a late penalty (Dropping down one grade level). All homework assignments are posted on a weekly basis on my website. Homework Due date will always be due on a B day!!!!!!

Polices & Procedures 6. Absenteeism: All tests and quizzes should be made up within five school days. It is the student’s responsibility to get the notes and missing work at the beginning or end of class. They should not interrupt lectures to ask for missing work. 7. Labs: Students must read and follow all lab directions and safety rules and never begin unless instructed to do so. No playing, eating, inappropriate use of supplies will be allowed. 8. Drills: Students must orderly walk to the back field and stand in a line quietly behind the teacher until told to reenter the classrooms. Those students who get lost will receive a consequence. 9. Turning in work: Pass all papers to the front. People at the front should pass papers to the right. The last person should bring all of the papers to the teacher’s desk. Or, to the person assigned to this job. At certain times activities in notebooks will be graded. Students will be responsible for holding onto their notebooks, until collected. The notebooks will be randomly collected for a grade so it is important to stay up to date with any and all work. Any work turned in with no name will not be graded. 10. Tests & Exams: Upon completion of an exam or quiz students should raise their hand and the teacher will collect these items. Students must remain quiet until all students are finished. Students are expected to bring in a book to read quietly if completed before others in class. 11. Cheating: Students must be honorable and do their own work. If a student is caught copying another students work, both students will receive a zero. 12. Science Notebook and Workbook: Science notebooks must be brought to class each day. Students who do not have their notebook will sign a log and after three strikes, they will receive a detention.
