Introducing ERIN NICOLE HAYNES

This is my family, Me and my Husband Stacy, My elder son and daughter n law, and my and my youngest son

A journey through the 1970’s  I am from Los Angeles, California and was born in 1973  I attended Grace Lutheran Elementary School in 1979

I am from Los Angeles, California but currently reside in Mesquite, Texas. My primary educational experiences ranges from Lutheran School, Catholic School, and ending with public High School. When I transferred from private school to public school I encountered my first exposure to people of various ethnic backgrounds. It was really interesting because my classes had students from Europe, Vietnam, Mexico, Persia and California of course. It was all so new to me. My world had been so small. It only consisted of the few students in the local neighborhood or the community church and we were all from the same ethnicity. I believe that experience is what prompted my personal interest in historical events and sociology.

The College experience I attended Southwest Community College in Los Angeles earning an Associate’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration from Northwood University.

Since then I have worked in a few fields ranging from home healthcare and phlebotomy, management, substitute teaching, and legal support staff. Most of my work experience and current employment has been in a law office working as a litigation paralegal. I have assisted with litigating transactional law, bankruptcy and now personal injury.

I am pursuing a new career in education because I want to provide a service that would impact our youth and encourage personal growth. The ideal position would be a guidance counselor for high school students. I believe that earning a Master’s in Education will assist my transition from corporate operations to educational leadership. Additionally, the Master’s Degree is one of a few requirements to advance in the field of education.

Erin is On the move Career Development  1.Alternate Certification Teaching Program with Texas Teachers  2.Master’s in Education  3.Successful Completion of Special Education Certification  4.Successful Completion of EC-6 Certification Success Goals  1.Become a Successful Educator  2.Obtain a position as a Guidance Counselor  3.Enter the Administration Program
