About your programme To help you develop basic digital literacy skills To help you become familiar with the computer and its basic functions To be able to use the internet and to search and apply for jobs To be able to use social media To be able to use Universal Job Match

Learning and Assessment The course is made up of 4 units Each unit has online learning and quiz questions We will also complete group and offline exercises Each unit has an online and offline practice assessment Each unit has an online test which is allocated one hour

Computers in the learning centre You will be advised by your tutor how to log on Are connected automatically to a network by cable or wireless You will need to check seat and screen each time you come in Do not save work overnight

Your computer at home Can be switched on and off on machine or at power supply May have different connections to other pieces of hardware, eg printer, router, tv, speakers
