Project Purpose Automate the operational Sabatier Reaction Machine Provide Human – Machine Interface Allow work to be expanded in the future
Brief Overview of the System
Automation System Overview
Human – Machine Interface
PLC Controls the start up and shutdown of all components in the system Ladder logic Main program and two subroutines to schedule start up and shut down procedures Program is based off of timers Every component is wired to the PLC
PLC Wiring PLC – KOYO Relay output boards split everything into three main groups Solenoids Electrolysis Heating Splitting into groups allowed for quick and easy troubleshooting
HMI Home Screen
Ladder Logic Click Programming Software Main Program & two subroutines Start Up Shutdown Timer based Once completed, Start up hold the bits on Once initiated, Shutdown sequentially shuts offs all bits held in Start up
